Fixed term until July 2025 – Based across London, Kent & Sussex.

Southern Housing's in house charity Fresh Visions supports children, young people and adults who face extreme disadvantage as a result of poverty, domestic abuse, lack of education and social exclusion.

This role will be the working on the Charity’s seniors programme, Intouch, tackling isolation and loneliness amongst residents aged 55 years old and over.

If you are dedicated to providing a holistic health & wellbeing program for senior residents and participants, consider joining Southern Housing as a Health & Wellbeing Project Officer with Fresh Visions.

You’ll have the opportunity to devise, plan and deliver an annual programme of residents’ and participants’ personal development, health & wellbeing support activities and projects. Running a caseload of support work, advice and guidance and training for residents.

You’ll ensure activities contribute effectively to achieving measurable impact for participants in health & wellbeing progressions including effective outputs and outcomes. Delivering an annual work programme to support achieve overall project objectives.

The role will require you having a full driving license with access to a vehicle. Travel across Southern Housing neighbourhoods will be required.

What you’ll need:

  • Relevant work experience or qualification in community development or health and welfare related areas.
  • Experience in working with community stakeholders to devise and deliver health and wellbeing activities.
  • Successfully provided 1-2-1 support, information advice and guidance.
  • Experience in managing volunteers.
  • Excellent communication skills and working knowledge of MS word, Excel.
  • Full driving licence and regular access to a car.
