The role
Southern Housing has an exciting opportunity for a Scheme Housing Officer to join our team on a permanent basis at our scheme at Catherine Court, Birmingham, B24 9LE, working 35 hours a week.
Reporting to a Team Manager, you will play a crucial role in providing support to our Independent Living Sheltered, Extra Care, and Over-55s schemes.
Your responsibilities will include offering a frontline service while ensuring the safety and well-management of our schemes to support residents in living independently within active communities in Sittingbourne. To excel in this role, you must possess a full clean UK driving license and be willing to work 5 days a week on schemes, demonstrating an understanding of the diverse needs of older people, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to work collaboratively under pressure.
