At Southern Housing, we’re looking for a dedicated Estate Maintenance Operative to deliver top-tier repairs and maintenance services across our estates. From ensuring health and safety compliance to managing contractors and completing void property turnarounds, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining the quality and comfort of our residents’ homes. The role is required to be on site 5 days in the office, 08:30am – 16:30pm.
What you’ll need

Knowledge of equality and diversity good practice

Knowledge of fire, health and safety regulations in a residential setting

Knowledge of basic carpentry, plumbing, tiling and electrical industry standards

Basic carpentry, electrical, plumbing, tiling, painting and decorating skills

The ability to manage demanding workloads

The ability to work under own initiative

The ability to work with others to deliver joint objectives
